Human First, Therapist Second

I have always thrived on hearing people’s stories and connecting over the simultaneous heartbreak, confusion, and pure joy of being a human.

I obtained my bachelor’s from UW-Madison in sociology with a minor in women’s studies and my master’s in Counseling from UW-Whitewater with a focus on Marriage and Family. My background in sociology and women’s studies informs my view of the world as a deeply interconnected web of systems in which we are a part of. In my work with clients, I view challenges and growth within a multitude of systems from immediate relationships to the greater community and world in which they reside.
